NEET 2021 Counselling Process
Candidates who qualify for NEET 2021 and want to participate in the counselling process for the AIQ seats in Deemed Universities/ Central Universities/ ESIC colleges have to register online on the official website of MCC. The process of NEET 2021 counselling has been explained in detail below:
Registration
- Candidates need to register on the official website of MCC – www.mcc.nic.in
- Candidates need to fill in details such as their name, registration number, personal details, academic details and the details mentioned on their NEET result
They will also have to pay a registration fee for completing the NEET counselling 2021 application process. Candidates can refer to the table below to know the registration fee for NEET 2020 counselling.
Choice filling
- After completing the registration process, the candidates need to fill in the choices by logging into the registered account on the MCC portal
- They need to choose the course/ college in the desired order of preference
- They can fill in any number of choices from the list provided
- Candidates can add/delete a choice
- They can also move up/ move down a choice as per their preference
- After filling in the choices, they must save a copy of the choices filled for future reference
Seat allotment list
- Based on the AIR obtained in NEET 2021 and the choices filled in the registration form, a seat allocation list will be prepared
- The seat allocation list will be uploaded online on the official website of MCC
Reporting to the college allotted
Candidates who will be allocated a seat in counselling of NEET 2021 will have to report to the allocated institute for verification of documents and confirmation of the seat. If candidates accept the seat that has been allocated to them but fail to report to the allocated institute before the given deadline, their candidature will be cancelled.
Documents Required for NEET Counselling 2021
Candidates reporting to the allocated institute for confirmation of the seat must carry the following documents with them:
Original documents (along with attested photocopies of documents) for admission to under- graduate medical courses for admission to 15% of total seats on All-India basis required at the time of joining in allotted Medical / Dental College are as mentioned below.
I.Allotment Letter issued by MCC (A sample copy is attached at Annexure III)
II. Admit Cards of Exam issued by NTA.
III. Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
IV. Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same)
V. Class 10th Certificate
VI. Class 10+2 Certificate
VII. Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
VIII. Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form.
IX. Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.
X. Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport)
XI. For NRI/ OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities following documents are mandatory:
a) Passport copy of sponsorer, embassy certificate
b) Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of study)
c) Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)
XII. The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:
(a) SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the standard format as specified in the prospectus/information bulletin) and it should be in English or Hindi in language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. Some of the States insist for English version of Caste Certificate. In case the certificate is in regional language the candidate should carry a Attested translated copy of the certificate in English/ Hindi.
(b) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub- caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer to claim OBC reservation benefit. The OBC certificate must be in the standard format as mentioned in the prospectus/ Information Bulletin.
(c) Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act 2016 (RPWD Act, 2016). (Please see clause 10.1 of Information Bulletin of AIPMT/NEET for admission to MBBS/BDS 40 | P a g e Courses, published by Central Board of Secondary Education (NTA) for details). No other PWD certificate, issued by any other Authority/Hospital will be entertained.
(d) EWS Certificate as per the prescribed format. (Candidates are advised to see college information, of allotted college for, any other document which may be required by the allotted college) Candidates without original certificates/documents shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/ Dental College.
