Candidate Must-know guidelines for students to prepare for big day
With less than a week to go for the NEET 2021 entrance exam, here are all the instructions and guidelines to help students prepare for the big day.
It is not uncommon for aspirants to forget something or the other on exam day. This mostly happens due to the pressure they feel on D-Day of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET exam). Another reason can be when aspirants fail to read the instructions carefully.
With less than a week before the NEET 2021 exam, here all the exam day instructions, guidelines, what to carry and reporting time. The article discusses these issues in detail, so read carefully to ensure hassle-free preparation for exam day.

NEET Exam Day Guidelines-:
NEET exam day guidelines are a quick review of all the necessary things that a candidate must know and be prepared for before the actual exam. These guidelines help aspirants avoid last-minute setbacks on exam day.
There are some regulations that aspirants need to follow that include being present before the reporting time, following the dress code (if any) etc.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
1. As a precaution for COVI D-19, the candidate must reach the Centre at the time as indicated against Reporting/Entry time at the Centre in the Admit
Card.
2. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the Centre after the Gate Closing Time.
3. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/Hall before the end of the examination.
4. On completion of the examination, please wait for instructions from Invigilator and do not get up from your seat until advised. The candidates will be
permitted to move out one at a time only.
5. All candidates are required to download and carefully read the Instructions and Advisory for COVID-19 given with the Admit Card and strictly adhere to
them.
6. This Admit Card consists of four pages- Page 1 contains the Centre details and Self Declaration (Undertaking) Form regarding COVID-19 , Page 2 has “Postcard Size Photograph” and “Page 3 has ”Important instruction for candidates” and Page 4 has “Advisory for candidates regarding COVID-19”. The candidate has to download all pages.
7. The Admit Card is provisional, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as given in the Prospectus/Information Bulletin.
8. Candidates are suggested to visit the examination venue, a day in advance to see the arrangements at the Centre so that they do not face any problem on the day of examination.
9. If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough checking.
10. No Candidate would be allowed to enter the Examination Centre, without Admit Card, Valid ID Proof and proper frisking. Frisking through Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD) will be carried out without touching the body.
11. Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue :
a) Personal transparent water bottle,
b) Additional photograph same as uploaded on Application Form, to be pasted on Attendance Sheet
c) Personal hand sanitizer (50mI)
d) Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) having Postcard size photograph affixed on the designated space (page 2) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear print out on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
e) Before reaching the Centre, the candidates must enter the required details in the Undertaking in legible handwriting.
f) PwD Certificate and Scribe related documents, if applicable
12. Candidate should put their signature and paste the Photograph at the appropriate place. They should ensure that their Left-Hand Thumb Impression is
clear and not smudged.
13. Candidate must carry “Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the government” — PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ 12th Class Board Admit or Registration card/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/Ration Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo. All other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in mobile phone will NOT be considered as valid ID Proof
14. The PwD candidates must bring a PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation under the PwD category. The scribe must also carry his/ her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, etc., passport size photograph, valid government identity and self-declaration (Undertaking) regarding COVID-19 (as per above format).
15. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any personal belongings including electronic devices, mobile phones and other banned/ prohibited items listed in the Information Bulletin to the Examination Centre. Examination Officials will not be responsible for the safe keep of personal belongings and there will be no facility
16. Candidate are advised to follow the Dress Code. Shoes/ footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted.
17. Rough work is do be done on the space provided for this purpose in the Test Booklet only.
18. A duly filled Admit Card at the end of the examination must be handed over to the Invigilator. Failure to do so may result in the non-evaluation of your
Answer Sheet.
19. No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices as the examination Centres are under surveillance of
CCTV and equipped with Jammers.
20. On completion of the test, candidates must hand over the OMR Sheet (both Original and Office Copy) to the Invigilator and take away only the Test Booklet with them.
21. Candidates are advised to check updates on the NTA websites regularly. They should also check their mailbox on the registered E-mail address and SMS in their registered Mobile No. for the latest updates and information.

The most important document for the exam date is your NEET 2021 admit card. The admit card or hall ticket will be released and available for download in the coming days. Candidates are advised to download their NEET 2021 admit card in advance and not to wait till the last date.
Important things related to NEET 2021 admit card: There are few things that a candidate must ensure before taking a printout of the NEET 2021 admit card.
A candidate must take out a colored printout of the NEET 2021 admit card.
A recent passport size photograph must be pasted on it.
It must be signed.

It is essential for aspirants to have complete knowledge of the exam day schedule in order to be well prepared for NEET 2021. The exam day schedule is very important to know as if reflects the pattern to be followed during exam day.

NEET exam date: 12 September 2021
NEET 2021 exam timings are as under:
Entry to the exam hall begins: 11:30 am
Last entry in the exam hall as per NEET timings: 1:30 pm
Announcement of instructions by the invigilator: 1:30 to 1:45 pm
Distribution of the test booklets: 1:45 pm
Candidates can fill in details in the test booklet: 1:50 pm
